I had my own Tech-Startup, later started from zero as junior recruiter in a big corporation, got promoted by changing my job quickly after learning the basics, performed as external recruitment advisor, internal HR Manager, professional Headhunter, Team Lead and finally Managing Director in an IT Consulting company. With every role, I made my observations about human nature, as well as tactics that all the sides use to make their evaluations, thoughts and finally decisions. I saw great experts struggling to sell themselves, even though they had all the competencies required for the role. I saw individuals selling themselves short and others, leveraging the market situation in their advantage. I saw people making desperate moves, and people subconsciously sabotaging themselves because they were not believing in themselves.
