Fire: Walk with me
Limited giclée art print
Between the moments we call “breakthroughs,”
there are long stretches of simply functioning.
Days when nothing quite closes,
but nothing returns to its former shape either.
This painting was created in such a time.
Not when things were already “better.”
And not when they were at their worst.
Rather in a moment when I felt warmth and tension in my body —
a refusal to keep explaining myself,
a refusal to quietly disappear from my own life.
I painted this figure without a plan for the outcome.
From leftover energy.
From anger, exhaustion, and the desire to be honest —
even if only with myself.
Fire in this work is not an explosion.
It is a decision to keep walking
with what is alive, uncomfortable, and unnamed.
This work is for those who are in motion.
Not “after,” not “before.”
But exactly in between.
