Saranda sweater knitting pattern is made for intermediate knitters - but if you are a beginner, it is also worth taking up the challenge as I will explain each step carefully to you.
Saranda sweater with raglan sleeves and simple neck line is seamless and worked top down. The cut is quite loose and oversize. Because of the flowing bamboo yarn it is extremely nice and cool to the touch, perfectly worn on the naked body. The pattern is perfect base to the multiple versions of length and width of the sweater and sleeves – my version is waist length of the sweater, and about ¾ sleeve length. I will guide you how to change the size of the sweater, to best suit your needs.
Materials:
Yarn: 300 g for size S-M / 400 g for size L-XL of approx. 350 m / 383 yds in 100 g / 3.52 oz - I used Soft Bamboo “fine” Go Handmade (color 17321), but you can choose any smooth, silk-to-touch yarns, mix cotton and bamboo, or mercerized cotton.
Circular needles size 4 mm
Circular needles size 3 mm
Sizes: S - M / L – XL
The number of stitches for each size is written in the project like this: x / x corresponding to S - M / L – XL. If you want to make a larger size or change the width and length of the sweater, it's really easy - i'll explain you how to do it!
