Pingli Emotion Cards - 24 Printable Cards & Illustrated Guide

Sometimes it is easier to choose a card than to find the right words.

Pingli is a set of 24 illustrated emotion cards designed to help start conversations about feelings. Use them to explore an emotion, notice how it shows up in the body and thoughts, and connect it with everyday experiences.

Each card pairs an expressive portrait with an English-language reverse featuring a short description, possible body sensations, thoughts and impulses. These are starting points for conversation - the person using the cards decides what fits their experience.

What is included?

Your digital download contains five PDF files:

1. Emotion Cards - all 24 double-sided cards, arranged six per A4 page. Eight pages, including matching backs.

2. Illustrated Conversation Guide - 16 A5 pages with conversation prompts, colourful diagrams, individual and group activities, and safety guidance.

3. Compact Home Print - an alternative layout with eight cards per A4 page. Six pages, including matching backs.

4. Read Me - instructions for double-sided printing, cutting and assembling the box.

5. Printable Box - an A4 template to cut, fold and assemble.

Both card layouts produce cards approximately 70 × 100 mm. Choose the layout that suits you - there is no need to print both.

Ways to use the cards

• Choose a card for an everyday emotional check-in.
